The documentary film "Lo and Behold reveries of the connected world", uses the technique of hand held camera, this is used when explaining the history of the internet. By using this technique of filming it makes the audience feel as if they are there in the same room and as if they are the ones being talked to directly, this also gives a sense of realism.
Throughout the documentary film, I noticed that the brightness had been heightened and saturation levels had been changed making the backgrounds of each scene look very vibrant in colour. Making it hard to look away. by having this it represented new growing technology as fun and exciting, it also makes the audience think about the beauty in our world.
Through out the film, all the interviewees, were interviewed in there field of work or in there home environment. For instance, the "Brain Researcher" was interviewed in front of a MRI scanner behind him and "The cosmologist", interviewed in his lab. Interviewing people with objects, that they use in there fields of work, helps add to the story by visually showing objects they use daily.
